Purse Memory Game |
Price Is Right? |
|
|
Fill an empty purse with about 20 items that you would find in a purse.
Items like lipstick, keys, compact, brush, makeup, pen, fake credit
card, toy cell phone, etc. are good. Each child is given a pen and a
piece of paper. Dump the contents of the purse onto a tray and give
everyone 20 seconds to view all the items. They have to try to remember
as many items as they can. They can't start writing until 20 seconds is
up and you cover all the items and take the tray away. If a child can't
spell well have them draw a picture. No sharing or peeking at other's
list. After everyone is done, bring the tray back and go over the items
on their list. For each correct answer, they win $1 in play money for
their shopping spree. |
Like on the TV show, show them two items and let them guess which item
cost the most. You can use photos of items instead of actual items. Each
child is given a chance to play. If they guess right they win $5 in play
money.
