Note To Customers: Some John Deere

theme but have items that can be intermixed. I have had many request
for this theme over the years, so here is what I found. Have a great
party!
Create a corner barn area with our
scene setters. Use plastic to cover floor or rug and tape down and
then add some small straw bales. This makes a great photo op corner.
Bale will cover approx. 125 sq ft.

For outdoor
parties, it's fun to pick up some bales of straw/hay to create a fun
farm scene. the bales can be used as a focal point for the party.
They can be used for sitting on and playing games. I created
this scene pictured above (double click to enlarge) for a barnyard party, but it can also be used
for John Deere theme.
A visit to a
local farm with tractor pulled hay ride is fun too! Or maybe you have
your own tractor and trailer to give rides on.

construction paper.
Leave off a
large wheel. Using black construction paper cut out
several wheel shapes the same size as the one you just cut off.
The children try to place the tire
on the tractor, the
closest tire to it's original position wins. You can use the removable poster mounts on the back of each
tire or just tape. To identify which tire belongs to which kid, you could write
their name in yellow glitter pen on each tire.

Using these playing cards select pairs for numbers 2-10 and
a pair Jacks. Shuffle and then flip cards down in a 4x5 matrix on the table or floor with
numbers face down. Each guest gets a turn at making a match of two cards
by flipping them over. If they don't match they are flipped back to hide
numbers.
Match the numbers and they win, but flip cards back over. If a guest matches two Jacks "J"
for John Deere, they win a special prize. Guest have to try to
remember what cards were flipped before. Depending on the number
of guests you may have to have two rounds, shuffle cards and replace
them face down.
Activities
Color Tees for Kids
This is a great activity where kids can color their own t-shirt and take
it home as a party favor. A "I Love The Farm"
t-shirt kit with markers is available at Hendren's.

At the John Deere site there is a cute story about "JOHNNY the TRACTOR"
that you can read or
choose from one of the great books below.
